Major events - Prime

Held in conjunction with National Youth Week, the Gallery's Prime program involves emerging and high-profile young artists, designers, filmmakers, performers and musicians.

The Gallery’s annual Prime project in 2005 took the form of a special exhibition of the work of young Queensland artists.

In 2004, Prime 04: art+music+video presented a program centred on the intersections of art, music and the moving image, as explored in the 'Video Hits: Art & Music Video' exhibition. A major performance event was held on Sunday 28 March followed by a week-long program of screenings, artist talks and panel discussions.
