The Hobday and Hingston Bursary is awarded annually to the most promising undergraduate student from a Queensland tertiary art course. Nominations are submitted by tertiary institutions in November each year.
The bursary was instigated by Mrs Florence Emily Hobday in memory of her husband, the artist Percy Stanhope Hobday, and her brother, Arthur James Hingston.
The 2007 recipient of the Hobday and Hingston Bursary was Cara-Ann Simpson. Cara-Ann graduated in Visual Art from the University of Southern Queensland in 2007.
