Presented by the Design Institute of Australia (Queensland Branch) in association with the Queensland Art Gallery, ‘Design Excellence in Queensland’ showcases the finalists and winners of the Queensland Design Awards 2005. Now in its fourth year, the Awards program celebrates and profiles contemporary Queensland design. Categories include interior design, furniture and industrial design, graphic design, lighting, set and display design and public art collaboration. Works by emerging student designers are also featured. Visitors are invited to nominate their favourite design for the People’s Choice Award. A Queensland Week event.
